Bear Lake - Wednesday

Our 3rd day there, we decided to take a break from the lake and go explore the Minnetonka Cave.

This was a 90 minute tour in a 40 degree climate.  Thank goodness they had jackets for most of us to borrow, because we were unprepared!  Making our way through 9 rooms of stalactites and stalagmites, we climbed a half a mile with over 400 stairs, and then turned around and did the same thing to get out.

I think these formations were called The 7 Dwarfs.  With a stretch of the imagination, each stalagmite had a creepy face which somewhat resembled one of the Snow White's pals.

Towards the end, there was one formation we were actually allowed to touch.  Hence the name, "Touching rock."

The rest of the day we just hung out at the cabin and had fun.

Here, Brynnlee's a little unsure of why Bradley thinks he has a right to hold her puppy.  Kaylee is staying a neutral party and keeping to her sucker.

Brynnlee snagged it back.

Bradley just thinks it's all fun and games and so he tickles her.

He tries to force a hug out of her... we all do, actually.

And then he decides that the proper course of action to effectively mess with his little sister, is to shove his foot in her face,

But Brynnlee came out victorious.  Puppy in hand.

Nathan was the next contender.

The kids also spent their time up in the loft building blocks and train tracks.

The family played Crazy 8's, Go Fish, and War.

The last thing we did that night was go out for shakes.  Bradley isn't much of an ice cream eater, so while everyone else was enjoying their dessert, he talked Grandma into taking him outside to the kiddie rides.  He's a hard kid to turn down.  So before we knew it, we were all outside spending Grandpa's quarters and watching the babies take their first lone ride together.
