We're Famous!

Facebook is kind of amazing.  Our local news did a story on a FOUND camera memory card and was searching for the owner.  Less than a half hour later, Charles had received a call from a friend telling him he had seen his pictures on the news.  A few minutes later my phone was blowing up with texts, FB messages and voicemails about our pictures being on the news and all over Facebook. We continued getting calls, as well as my parents, and Bradley's preschool teachers (They were in one of the photos posted).  It was pretty funny.

I think my favorite thing about this experience was reading the comments from the article.

I felt kind of bad when the news reported called me to see if she could run a story on my reaction to the missing and found Memory card.  But the truth was, I had no idea it was missing.  I had already loaded all the pictures to my computer before I had lost it.  But it was a 32 GB card, so of course I was thrilled to have it back... those are expensive! Needless to say, it wasn't quite an exciting enough story to make headlines once again... thank goodness!

We went back to Jungle Jim's to retrieve the card, tell them thank you and then felt obligated to stay and play. The kids didn't mind.
