I Love Bradley

Bradley: Hey Mommy.

Me: Yeah?

Bradley: You should try the red ones.

Me: The red what?

Bradley: The red boogers.

Me: *gag!*

I Love Kaleb

Charles:  So how was school?

Kaleb: Good.

Charles: Who did you sit by today?

Kaleb: Steven

Charles: Again?

Kaleb: I mean, no I didn't.  I sat by some girls.

Charles:  Giiiirls?!  How come?!

Kaleb: I don't know. Cuz they wanted me to.  Mommy?  You should stop making me look so handsome for school.

I Love Jaden

I usually don't need to set an alarm in the morning to get the kids ready for school.  They wake me up plenty early.

Well...

A few nights ago I had stayed up pretty late, and then was up again for a couple hours in the middle of the night because Brynn was running a fever that I was trying to bring down.  When I went back to sleep, I didn't think to set my alarm.

On the rare occasion that I get to sleep-in a bit, this is how I get to wake up...

"Mommy?  I got poop!"
or
"Mom! I'm hungry!"
or
"Mom? You need to make my lunch."
or
"Moooom! Kaleb punched me!"
or
"Mom. You should probably get your lazy butt out of bed now and quit being such a slacker because we are late for school!"

Okay... I haven't actually heard that one... yet.

But this particular morning, the sweet voice that woke me up was Jaden's, telling me:
"Mom?  You don't have to worry about feeding anyone.  I took care of it."

"Weeeee're OFF to See the Wizard..."

We took Jaden and Kaleb to see their first play a few weeks ago.  They had recently started watching Tom and Jerry's The Wizard of Oz, which introduced them to the movie, which inspired us to see the play

Apparently there is no flash photography allowed, so we stole what shots we could while everyone was being seated.

Our seats were awesome.  We were like 5 rows from the stage, and off to the side on an aisle.

The boys loved it.  Even though it lasted till after 10pm, they stayed awake... barely.

The boys still have their programs tucked away in the headboard of their beds along with the rest of their "special" things.
