Kaleb: Jr. Jazz

This was Kaleb's first year playing basketball.  It was more like bunchball/tackleball.  It was pretty entertaining to see the kids run around cradling the ball and then get tackled by a herd of kids who wrestled the ball to the ground.

Kaleb, I thought, did pretty awesome for his first season.  I loved watching him dribble.  It was at about eye-level and he was so concentrated on keeping the ball bouncing that sometimes it took him forever to move forward.  It was cute.  But he was really good at getting open, calling for the ball, and passing.

This little dude in the green is Kaleb's buddy, Mason.

I can tell he loves a sport when he is still in the game even when he is out of the game.

In an effort to break up the bunch and teach the kids how to mark players, they gave each team some colored wristbands,  If you had a red one, you were supposed to stay on the player of the other team who also had a red band.  It was a good idea... in theory.
