Dad's Concert

So Dad is... kind of a big deal!
He is part of the Millennial Choirs and Orchestra.  My family got to see one of his concerts along with Mom, Alli, Jeff and Kare. It was called "To Be American."  I wish my camera could see and focus as well as the glasses I never wear.  I could totally see him.

I absolutely LOVED this concert.  The music was amazing, and the feelings of love and honor and patriotism for this country moved me to tears. For that reason, I hated it. But for all other reasons it was great.  I am so proud of my Dad and his musical talent that he rarely shares.  It makes me smile to think of him preparing, going out and auditioning and feeling nervous throughout the whole process.  He's so cute! :)

Only Jaden and Kaleb were able to come.  Bradley and Brynnlee were too young.

Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take pictures or videos during the performance, though I tried to sneak what I could... so I went on YouTube to find something to show the Bartletts and Curtis so they could see how cool Dad is.

And now... Presenting the largest Choir and Orchestra in the World,
All Ages
All Faiths
One Voice

MILLENNIAL CHOIRS & ORCHESTRAS!!!

Don't forget to buy his CD. (*wink*)

Bradley Spring Soccer

Here is Bradley's 2nd season with this team.  Spring season brought out a superstar in Bradley. All of a sudden he was everywhere and scoring goal after goal after goal.  His record was 8 in one game.

After the last game, Bradley was asked if he wanted to join a different team for a tournament.  He did, and he played 5 games in a single weekend.  He had fun and did great!

Go Vikings!

This was Jaden's first season of Flag Football. He malignly played Center and Quarterback. Doring his first game, he scored his first touchdown while playing QB. He scored a few more throughout the season.  I didn't really know much of what was going on, but I enjoyed watching him play.

Here is Charles multi-tasking:  He is working, while Face-Timing the game with his parents.

Family Pics

While in AZ, we asked Kare's friend Ashley to take our pictures. Ashley does such great work for Kare and her family, I was really hoping for some great pictures. Well... she did great work on her part, but note to self... try to avoid getting pictures done when your kids have just lost their front teeth and are still learning how to smile photogeniclly (or just not smile at all) with their new ones. Eeesh.
