Bradley's Preschool Graduation

I can't believe he is done with preschool... It makes me sad.

Getting dressed and ready to celebrate Bradley's big day.

We let Jaden and Kaleb miss a little bit of school to come to the graduation.  I'm glad we did because at the very end of the presentation, Miss Suzie (The founder of Sunshine Square) asked for all former students to come to the front and join with the grads in singing the last song together.  I loved it!  And it was nice to see that Kaleb had matured a little bit since the last time he was up there. :)

"When I grow up I want to be a doctor."

Bradley had 2 teachers this year:  Miss Michelle and Miss Debbie

Bradley and his friend Zoe.  She wanted a picture with him since they were in the same class for both years,

My cousin Mike has a little boy in Bradley's class too.  His name is Boston and he is the first boy on the top row... I think.

Yay Bradley!  You got to Letter Z so you could graduate and go to Kindergarten! I still think you are too young to start.  You are 22 months younger than Kaleb, and only one grade apart. It's a good thing you are so smart. :)

Where is Bradley?

FYI... apparently these blocks trap heat.  Bradley was up building with Charles after the other kids had gone to bed, and Bradley wanted his brothers to see the rocket when they woke up.  So Charles took the top apart so he could lift Bradley out.  When he did that there was a whoosh of hot air and poor Bradley was sweating.  I'm surprised he didn't pass out!  On the bright side, at least we know we have the supplies to make our own sauna.

The Merrills Visit

The Merrills came for a visit the day before we got home from our California trip.  The party didn't stop! Let's see, what did we do... we went to Jump n Bounce, had game nights, watched Pitch Perfect, went to the temple... and pretty much just hung out at Mom and Dad's during the day. Even though it was under crappy circumstances, it was nice to have Curtis able to stay for more than a just a few days. Thank you Obama and the Border Patrol.  :)

Our game of Guesstures was hilarious.  Dad was having such a hard time that no one expected him to swoop in at the end to WIN the game like he did. Go Dad!

California Part 3

Our drive to California and back was awesome.  Our travel time was cut by about 90 minutes all because of a newly acquired skill:

Bradley did it too, but I don't have a picture.  I know you wanted one.  When Brynnlee saw the bottles, she kept reaching for them and saying, "I want juice!"

On our way home, we stopped in AZ to let the kids get out and stretch and play in the river.

The only time Charles feels like he can give his razor a break is when he's on vacation.  And I like that dirty rugged look.  I wish he would do it more often. Yep.  My husband is hot.

California Part 2

We also spent a day in Tehachapi visiting cousins.  We love to go there.

Missing Zoe

Another day we had a BBQ over at Melanie and John's.  Aunt Michelle came down for it too.  It was so hot, so Charles went and bought squirt guns so the kids could have a water war. That was pretty fun to watch.  The night before, Melanie and John invited all the cousins to stay over for a sleepover.  They are brave. But Bradley and Brynnlee stayed with us. Too soon for them, I guess.

I'm sure we did more, but I didn't take pictures, so I have already forgotten. Pretty sad how dependent  my memories are on that camera...

California Part 1

After Disneyland, we spent a few days in Lancaster.  We stayed with Chuck and Sherrie.  One morning we went to Apollo Park to feed the ducks and have a picnic.

There were a lot of "Sasha"s there.  Brynnlee is afraid of animals and calls all of them Sasha.  (Sasha is the name of a dog belonging to our friends.)

Bradley on the other hand isn't scared at all. While Kaleb climbs onto the table to escape the ducks, Bradley chases them away.

Yeah... it was hot.

These 2 were a lot more friendly this visit.  They were so cute.
