Brynnlee at 3 Weeks

At Brynnlee's 2 week checkup she weighed 7 lbs. and 1 oz. and grew to 20 inches long. She was 3 oz. under her birth weight and so I was sent to a lactation specialist to help her out a little.

(The best thing I got out of that appointment was a new nursing pillow. It's called "My Brest Friend." Haha! Seriously the best one out there.)

So I've been stressed out the past week trying to get her to eat more. She's just such a sleepy baby! At 3 weeks she was weighed again and had gained 10 ounces. I guess gaining an ounce a day at this point is good, and she gained 10 in 7. So that was relieving. :)

Cousins

Easter

The day before Easter, the boys got to color eggs with their cousin, Nathan. They didn't know that the tricky Easter Bunny would take those eggs and hide them all around the basement for the boys to find the next day. :)


When the boys woke up, they followed a trail of candy down the stairs and to...


...this. Kaleb was the most excited. Jaden had just had a birthday party the day before and received a ton of lego sets. It was a little rough on Kaleb. So when he saw his OWN lego set in his Easter basket, he did his happy dance.


Jaden on the other hand, was a bit of a disappointment. He had green eyes for Kaleb's loot. Bradley was super excited to have his own jump rope to make "trouble traps" with, and his own legos. Brynnlee... well, she looks pretty happy. :)


So Sunday morning was spent doing all things lego.



Happy Easter!

The Merrills' Visit

Kare and Curtis came to visit! The boys took their cousin Nathan to Jump-n-Bounce...







While Brynn and I hung with Kare and Kaylee...


This was the first time I had taken Brynn out and put a headband in her hair. It didn't go so well. Haha! Such a tiny little head. :)


Oh there she is!



We mostly hung out at Mom and Dad's...

We watched Nathan's mad light saber skills... he's got the sound effects down!


We played at our house a little...


But the thing the boys always look forward to is... being chased and tickled and eaten by Uncle Curtis. And what a trooper he is! He probably went home from vacation, needing a vacation!




Kare and I also had our little photo shoot with the babies...


And I think the boys felt a little left out. :)


Then before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye...
